Returns and Refunds

Definitions

You
The customer placing the order.
Us, We or Our
Garner Press.
Order
The goods and services ordered from Us by You as shown on Your invoice.
Promotions
Any discounts applied to your Order as shown on Your invoice.
Returned Items
One or more items from the Order returned to Us by You.
Outward Delivery
The delivery from Us to You.
Outward Delivery Charges
The costs incurred by Us for Outward Delivery; this may be more than the delivery costs shown on Your original invoice due to the application of explicit or implicit discounts or Promotions.
Return Delivery

The delivery from You to Us, in the event of a return. The books will remain your property until we have received them.

The costs incurred by You for Return Delivery.

Returns

In accordance with the UK Distance Selling Regulations, You have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within seven working days of receiving delivery. On notification in writing of cancellation of the contract, and return of the items, We will refund in full the Order, including any Outward Delivery charges shown on Your invoice. We will not, however, reimburse the cost of Return Delivery Charges.

If for any reason You are unhappy with any items from Your Order, You can return those items to us in their original condition within 30 days of the date received, and We will issue a refund for the price you paid for the Returned Items, excluding any Outward Delivery Charges. By choosing to return the Returned Items within 30 days, You may forfeit Your eligibility for any Promotions or delivery discounts. Please note that Return Delivery Charges will not be refunded.

Damaged Items

If You believe any items from Your Order to be damaged, You should immediately notify Us of the damaged items and return them to Us. Once received, We will send a replacement and refund the cost of Return Delivery Charges according to our Return Postage Refunds policy. If, however, We find the Returned Items are not damaged, You will be refunded for the cost of the Returned Items only, excluding Outward Delivery Charges applicable to the Returned Items. You may forfeit Your eligibility for any Promotions or delivery discounts. Please note that Return Delivery Charges will not be refunded.

Incorrect Fulfillment

If We have incorrectly fulfilled any items on your Order, You should immediately notify Us of the error and return the items to Us. A full refund will be given for the Returned Items and for the Outward Delivery and Return Delivery charges applicable to the Returned Items as shown on Your invoice, in accordance with Our Return Postage Refunds policy.

Refunds

Any refund will be in the same form of payment originally used by You for purchase. Refunds will only be made to the original customer. Please allow 14 days for any returned funds to be credited to You.

Return Postage Refunds

In order for Us to refund the cost of Return Delivery for Damaged Items or Incorrect Fulfillment, You are required to provide Us with details and proof of the Return Delivery charges incurred by You. We will only refund up to, and not exceeding, the cost of the original Outward Delivery Charges for the Returned Items. If You are returning only part of an Order, We reserve the right to limit the maximum refund for Return Delivery to the cost of the Outward Delivery Charges for the Returned Items on the Order only.
